DIRECTIONS TO THE COMMUNITY MILONGA "MILONGA PARA LA AMISTAD" |
HERE IS THE INFO:
Come join us for the 4th Community Milonga - Al Aire Libre. We had so much a fun out side last time that we thought we would continue the trend. Add friendship to the mix and you have a "Milonga Para La Amistad." Please come and join us for Tango in the beautiful courtyard of the Art and Architecture Building on the north campus of the University of Michigan...Al Aire Libre, new wooden dance floor, live music, Tango, friends...WOW! See what happens when the community gets together! And let's not forget the raffle and give away prizes =-)! Also, please feel free to bring snacks and Non-alcoholic beverages to share. When: Saturday, August 16, 2008 9:30pm - 1:30am Where: Court yard of the Art and Architecture Building, North Campus of the University of Michigan DJ: Avik Basu
DIRECTIONS: maps: Map at bottom of page or tinyurl.com/58ky46 or Google Maps - First, look at the map(s). The only open doors in the building will be in the back where there is access to the court yard. All other doors will be locked. So please don't go to the front of the building, because you won't be able to get in. If you are coming in from the West on Fuller going East towards Glacier or Geddes Rd, go past Bonisteel Blvd. and take the next left into the parking lot (areas marked P behind the building or labeled "parking lot" depending on which map you look at ). If you are coming from the East heading West on Fuller Rd, you will pass Beal Ave on your right, you will pass a parking lot entrance on your right, you will then come upon the second parking lot entrance. This is right before Bonisteel Blvd. Make a right into this parking lot. You are now in the rear of the Art and Architecture building. Park in the NorthWest side of the parking lot. There is a path here, follow the signs to the the glass doors and listen for the music. There will be some one there to great you and you will see tango dancers in the courtyard....=-) |
